HILLTOP MINISTRIES: WAYS TO MAKE A DONATION

Image
Hilltop Ministries has been serving in Nicaragua since January 2011. Our journey began with a feeding program on February 13, 2011. Little did we know that taking a step of faith to start this program would lead to the expansive ministry we have today! To those who have been faithfully supporting us over the years, thank you! We are immensely grateful for your prayers and generosity. Your contributions have not only fed people spiritually and physically, but also facilitated medical treatments and provided medicine to those in need. They have enabled us and our missionary to forge community connections far beyond what we could achieve with just our annual visits. We've witnessed people transform their lives for Christ, overcome addictions, and triumph over challenging circumstances. We've seen miracles and healings, watched children from our feeding center grow into university students, and some start their own families. Missions is about more than just the quantity of things o

YOUTH EVENT: ESTELI 2023

Image
Our missionary had the opportunity to attend a youth conference in Esteli, Nicaragua, this past weekend. Here is her experience. Enjoy! YOUTH CONFERENCE - ESTELI NOV 2023: In recent years, people have been leaving their homes and families to seek work in the US. From what I've seen, the majority are young adults, aged between the ages of 18 and 25. In Nicaragua, when a church announces a youth event, it typically caters to those aged 13 to about 25 years. In contrast, youth events in the USA usually cater to those up to 18 years old. The cultural norms here are different. Given this, I didn’t expect many young people to attend our event. I was pleasantly surprised when over 150 youths showed up to worship the Lord, listen to the guest speakers, and enjoy fellowship. Another surprise was the event's timing; it was scheduled from 9 am to 3:15 pm. I had mistakenly thought it would end at 12 pm. I was happily proven wrong once again! The event was organized by the Foursquare Church

ORACIONES POR ANTONIO

Image

PRAYER WARRIORS NEEDED: UPDATE ON ANTONIO

Image
Many of you may remember Antonio from when we raised funds to help him prepare his house for dialysis for his kidneys back in August 2020. Recently, Antonio has not been feeling well. He went to the hospital in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, last week, and they told him he had an infection. They put him on medicine to help with the infection, but over the week, he has progressively gotten worse and weaker. The family decided to transfer him from the hospital in Managua to the hospital in Esteli to be closer to family. He arrived in Esteli on November 13. We write this post to call on our supporters and prayer warriors to keep Antonio and his family in your prayers. Pray for guidance and wisdom for the doctors and staff taking care of him, and for the family to find peace and understanding to help them through this difficult time.   "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we

Hemos d
