TESTIMONIES FROM FAMILIES IN NICARAGUA

Image
Last week, if you are following us or our missionary on social media, you saw that we gave out "blessing envelopes" to families we work with that are in need here in Nicaragua. When you support our ministry you are blessing many people in more ways than you can imagine. Here are some small testimonies from different famlies that received one of our blessing envelopes. TESTIMONIES: Please note that we will be using the first initial of their name or names for privacy reasons.  R - "Blessings. I am very grateful for the help that you [Hilltop Ministries] gave me, it has helped me to buy medicine. I am a very asthmatic person, and was having problems breathing. With your help I was able to get my new medicine I needed to breathe better.  I am happy to receive help. Thank you." S and J - "We thank you very much for your [Hilltop Ministries] help. It was very helpful to us. We were able to buy food for the family during these hard times. Thanks to God and to you...

HELPING FAMILIES IN NEED IN NICARAGUA!

Image
We can help the people of Nicaragua, because you took a step of faith to make a donation to us! Thank you! Over the last few weeks Covid cases in Esteli, Nicaragua have increasing dramatically. Many people are sick or have a loved ones that are sick. We have not been having the kids feedings this past month for two reasons. One, our missionary in Nicaragua was sick with Covid and has been recovering. The second reason was we did  not want the children, the children's families, or our leaders to be put in a place with a large amount of people where there would be a possibility that someone may get Covid. Their sickness, or possible death, would be our responsibility. We discussed with our leaders in the USA and in Nicaragua, and we decided to take the money that we would have use for the kids feedings and bless families who are in need. We have come up with a small love offering what we called "blessings envelopes". We made a list of families that we knew needed a little h...

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

As many of you know, over the last few months we have not been able to meet our monthly budget goal for our ministry in Nicaragua. We wanted to take the time out of our normal schedule to say thank you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for thinking about us, praying for us, sharing our posted on social media, and for making a donation to us.  When we all come together, with the little that we have, it makes a BIG difference. You are helping our ministry to thrive in Nicaragua. You are helping us put smiles on kids' faces, God's word in their heart, and food in their stomachs. You are showing the youth that they are called for so much more, and that they are worth more than they know. You are giving confidence to women who are learning new crafts, and are able to provide, even just a little, for their families. You are helping the sick get transportation to the hospital or doctor's office. You are helping give medicine to those who can not afford their treatment.  You...

PRAY FOR NICARAGUA : COVID-19

Image
We ask that you join us in prayer for the people of Nicaragua. Currently there has been surge in postive cases of Covid-19 in Nicaragua. As many know, our missionary and her family got Covid at the beginning of August. Thankfully they are all recovering well, but for many in Nicaragua that is not the case. The hospitals, clinics, and health department locations, at least in Esteli where our missionary lives, are overwhelmed with patients. The demand for oxygen is far greater than anyone expected. Some people are able to get oxygen tanks and hire private doctors, but there are many that are not able to receive that care. The hospital and other places have too many patients, not enough doctors and nurse to care for everyone needs, limited ventilators, and for many the wrong treatment plan. Hiring a private doctor and getting an oxygen tank are what some are doing and many wish they had the funds to do so. For some of the people of Nicaragua, who want to go the home route in treatin...
